How to prove a creation is yours before publishing it

Timestamp any creation in 30 seconds. A certified proof that your work existed at this exact date — without ever sending your file to a server.

Digital plagiarism is silent — and hard to prove

You share an illustration on Instagram. A few weeks later, you discover your design used by a brand — with no credit or payment. Without proof of an earlier date, it's impossible to demonstrate you're the original author. A file's metadata is easily falsified, a screenshot won't hold up in court. Copyright exists automatically, but you still need to prove anteriority in case of dispute.

A certified fingerprint of your creation, before any sharing

I finish a demo, an illustration or a creation.

I generate a timestamped proof before sharing it. The SHA-256 fingerprint is computed locally and timestamped by a third-party authority (FreeTSA) using the RFC 3161 standard.

I can show this version already existed at this exact date, with a readable PDF certificate and a verifiable cryptographic token.

The file never leaves my device. Only the digital fingerprint is transmitted. Proof Pack (ZIP) verifiable by anyone.

Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, SVG, PSD, AI, MP3, WAV, MP4, PDF — all creative formats

3 steps, 30 seconds

  1. Drop your creative file: Mockup, illustration, track, demo, video… drag and drop into your browser.
  2. Automatic local certification: Only the SHA-256 fingerprint is transmitted to the timestamp authority (FreeTSA, RFC 3161).
  3. Download your Proof Pack: Readable PDF certificate + RFC 3161 token. Then share your creation with peace of mind.

Why not just email the file to yourself?

Frequently asked questions

Does ProofStamper replace legal deposit?
No. ProofStamper provides a technical proof of anteriority (RFC 3161 timestamp), not a legal deposit. It's a useful complement: fast, free and verifiable. For high-value works, combine it with a deposit at INPI or a collective management organization.
Are my files stored on your servers?
No. The file stays entirely on your device. Only the cryptographic fingerprint (SHA-256) — a string of characters that cannot be used to reconstruct your work — is sent to the timestamp authority.
Is this proof recognized in case of dispute?
RFC 3161 timestamping is a widely recognized technical standard. It constitutes solid evidence to demonstrate the anteriority of a file. However, it is not a qualified electronic signature under eIDAS. For high-stakes disputes, consult a legal professional.
Can I timestamp multiple versions of the same work?
Yes. You can certify each version of your creation — draft, mockup, final version. Each proof is independent and proves the existence of that specific version at its timestamp date.
